Dear, Self
What I want out of my life is ( my goal for myself is)... To become an Registered Nurse, and also put God first In my life. In order to achieve these goals I will have a positive attitude and always do my best regardless of my problems. I will always have faith in God knowing that he will point me in the right direction. I will surround myself with people that want the same in life as I do. I will always take action, and stay true to myself. I will read my bible more than what I do and pray.

In the doctors’ own words-and their fathers’-they describe the crucial lessons they learned, identifying ways to stem the tide of fatherlessness that’s sweeping through communities across the country. Recommendation to " The Pact"
"The Pact" by Drs. Sampson Davis, George Jenkins, and Rameck Hunt is a very powerful book. I think people should read this book especially young people, cause it is very encouraging, and inspirational. It has so may motivating words, and it is very influencing. Young people would get such a thrill at of this book , because of the pact these three boys made. This book is about three boys who had nothing lived in bad neighborhoods, had no fathers, but still managed to have it all. They were encourage by there role models, they supported each, and they made a pact. The pact stated that they would all become doctors, and along the way they would help each to achieve the goal. The had problems along the way, but they didn't let that stop them from becoming doctors. Reading this will have an effect on there lives, and make them probably think of making there on pact.
Reflect On "The Pact"
I have really
enjoyed reading "The Pact". It was a very inspirational and touching
book. It’s amazing how the three boys made this pact and stuck to it. While
reading I felt really astonished at the fact that these boys came from nothing,
and managed to have it all. I wondered if we had children with their amount of
intelligent what would our world be like. This book really had an effect on me,
because it made me think of all the problems I have in college. It made me realize
that I need to keep on keeping on. It also made me realize that had a
friendship that was powerful, and transforming.
I have really enjoyed doing this blog, because I have never done one
before. I think it made me think about the book a little more, and I got to
express myself and my knowledge.

Quote!!!!!!!!!!
Quote: Something unexpected was always threatening to knock me out of the game: family distractions, the results of my first state board exam, the outcome of my initial search for a residency. But through determination, discipline, and dedication, I was able to persevere.

This quote really had an effect on me; I thought all the things as a
child of God I have to go through. Things that come my way and try to harm me,
get my attention, or even things that try and hinder my relationship with God.
The devils try's each and every day to put things in my path to be a stumbling
block. Whether it’s me not reading my Bible, not having faith in God, not
trusting him, or not remembering what he has done for me. But the thing is
having the three D's determination, discipline and dedication God can help to overcome
my flesh, and the devil. If I have the determination to get to heaven I have to
have faith, and trust God. Always believing that God not I is the only perfect
person. Also remembering that God has to discipline me for our sin, because I
fall short of his glory each, and every day, and that I am not perfect. I also
have to be dedicated in serving the Lord not letting distractions, or problems
get in the way. I need to persevere always maintain a purpose for severing the
Lord even though I am going to face obstacles, and just remember that God
worketh through me.
